The Talawa Theatre Company, the UK's primary Black theatre company, is moving into the redeveloped Fairfield Halls.

They will be open to the public on 16 September 2019, creating opportunities for young Black artists to train in technical and creative theatre disciplines. They will be working in partnership with local and national organisations.

Programming plans for the studio will be announced in autumn 2019.
