St Christopher’s are looking for carers who would like to become coaches for carers of people with a progressive illnesses for one hour a week.
A three day free training course is available to carers and ex-carers living in Lambeth, Southwark, Croydon, Lewisham and Bromley. This training is being offered as part of a project called Coach4Care, which aims to help current carers sustain and grow their love, energy and wellbeing whilst caring for a loved one.
It will take place fom 10am-4pm at St Christophers Hospice, 51-59 Lawrie Park Road, Sydenham London, SE26 6DZ on:
- Thursday 31st Jan, Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd Feb (limited spaces left)
- Thursday 7th, Friday 8th and Saturday 9th March.
- Thursday 27th ,Friday 28th ,Saturday 29th March.
Time Commitment: Coaches will be asked to give an hour of their time each week for coaching sessions with carers for three months minimum.
The training is being delivered by professional coaching organisation Animas, who are passionate about helping us empower carers who want to build on their experience, and is of exceptional quality.
