A Black History Month Launch event will take place on 1 October 2019, from 6.00pm - 8.30pm at Crystal Palace Football Club, Whitehorse Lane, London, SE25 6PU.  The Croydon BME Forum are working with Croydon Council and Palace For Life Foundation to create the marquee event to celebrate Black History Month.

The theme of this year’s Black History Month is “RID THE STIGMA”.

Work with a team of colleagues from different departments to deliver a fulfilled action day. Duties will include setting up the event, manning information stalls, and door knocking, to more fun things such as operating the candy floss/popcorn machine and delivering sports activities for the young people. This event will allow you to work alongside other departments but will also give you the opportunity to meet residents, listen to their ideas and consult about community issues.

Soul Vegan are 3 sisters, island girls (born and raised vegan) who dreamt of owning our own restaurant & bakery years ago. After working for our community’s Soul Vegetarian restaurants around the world we have finally made this a reality. Our long-term vision is to open a restaurant in London.  They provide delicious, healthy, reasonably priced, glorious food.  The theme is a celebration of Black History and Diasporan African Food.
