Need Legal Advice?

Although offices are shut (except by appointment, where absolutely necessary), they are now offering phone advice on a range of legal problems that local people may be experiencing, including as a result of the coronavirus crisis. These include:  

The best way to refer people to us - or for people to contact us directly - is via email at enquiries@swllc.org. For specialist debt advice, please email debt@swllc.org 

If people aren't able to email, they can call directly on 020 8767 2777. for debt advice, please call or call 020 8667 9252.  Phone lines are very busy at the moment, so they're asking people to please leave a voicemail with their name and number if they can't answer, and they'll call back as soon as possible. 

Their specialist advisers will call people back as soon as possible,  and can help them access legal aid if necessary. They can also book people into speak to one of their pro bono volunteers, who usually provide advice at their community advice clinics, but are currently offering phone advice instead.  This includes family advice.
