CVA was delighted to host a special event dedicated to honouring the outstanding contributions of Croydon’s trustees and board members.

These remarkable individuals work diligently behind the scenes to ensure that local organisations remain operational and continue to support the Croydon community in a variety of essential ways.

With 803 charities across the borough and 4,738 trustees, the sector generates an estimated £161 million.

It’s important to remember that the true worth of volunteering goes far beyond monetary value, as it directly enriches the lives of residents and strengthens the local community.

At the heart of our event, 16 exceptional trustees were honoured with Certificates of Recognition, presented by the Civic Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Kola Agboola.

These certificates serve as a small token of appreciation for the tireless efforts of these individuals, who make a significant and lasting impact on Croydon’s community.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Councillor Kola Agboola and all who attended the event on Thursday.

Your presence and support helped make this occasion truly memorable.

Let us continue to celebrate these incredible individuals and all those incredible trustees whose unwavering dedication plays a crucial role in enhancing and uplifting the Croydon community.

Their commitment is a true inspiration to us all.
