Nominate a young person for the Croydon Youth Awards

Nominate a young person for the first-ever Croydon Youth Awards

Croydon College has launched the first-ever Croydon Youth Awards - awards for young people, led by young people. This event takes place on Thursday 25 June at Fairfield Halls, Croydon.

The Croydon Youth Awards celebrate extraordinary potential, character, and contribution of young people across our community. These awards recognise not only achievement, but also growth, compassion, creativity, leadership, and resilience.

Each nominee represents the values that strengthen our communities, kindness, determination, responsibility and the courage to make a positive difference. Together, these stories remind us that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but powerful changemakers today.

These awards shine a light on the positive stories, achievements, and contributions of young people in our community. They recognise effort, ambition and resilience, while offering hope and inspiration to continue striving for their goals.

By celebrating what young people are doing well, the awards aim to build pride, unity, and a stronger sense of community across Croydon. Most importantly, they ensure young people feel valued, seen, and celebrated, not just heard.

How can you help?

The Croydon Youth Awards are powered by community support, and there are many ways to get involved. The organisers are seeking individuals, organisations, and businesses who want to support young people across Croydon.

Support could include sponsorship, volunteering, mentoring, providing prizes, offering performance opportunities, or contributing to the event on the day. Your involvement helps us create an inclusive, inspiring, and high-quality celebration that recognises young people’s achievements and gives them a platform to shine.
