Maternity and Neonatal Voices Partnership (MNVP) meeting on 24 September 2025.

 

Attended by Patricia Knight, VCS Representative 

 

The main items were: 

 

1. A discussion on 'Happy Baby community' - work to support with doulas etc women who are seeking asylum and are  being cared for and giving birth at CUH. 

 

2. Community outreach, including tech developments (Facebook contacts etc) and engagement in the community.

 

3. New lead for neonatal - leaflet for parents is being designed, including issues about transfer to different hospitals and returning home. 

 

4. Home birth team is being re-established, but with a revised model - linked with low risk births and birth centre team - several midwives involved.
