Carly, Hazel and other 3 mums want to improve the local playpark by getting the playground equipment repaired. They'd also like to see wooden structures in the woodland for the children to climb on. Our Best Start ABCD community builder supported them by organising Community of Practice meetings and inviting local councillors, artists & businesses as well as residents who could offer gifts such as sources of wood. The area has an amazing history as it was Beulah Spa; "the Versailles of London"; there used to be amazing gardens there and events. The mums have spoken about contacting the Council to get a community notice board installed as the first step in 'rehabilitating' Peggy's Playground.
