Our ABCD Best Start community builders has been supporting very closely the setting up of Chevening Hub (Chevening Road, Upper Norwood) by enthusiastic local resident and police officer Ben. A range of workshops and activities are taking place or being planned at the Hub for the benefit of families: Sand Art session by a mum of two, Sasha; a summer youth club by a Health champion, Leeman; Tai Chi lessons for adults; a community cafe' and a planned photography exhibition.

Jenny supported Ben in reaching out to community groups and projects. Linked him with orgs and funding advice and other connector. A café is now running at the centre and a Easter camp has been organised and publicised during Easter. For more information contact
