Friday 05 December 2014
14:00 to 16:00

CROYDON DISABILITY FORUM are holding an event during Disability Awareness Week to raise awareness of the problems people with any kind of disability (or multiple ones), in the widest sense of the word and regardless of whether it is visible or not, can face in everyday life. Optimistically this will help increase understanding and remove some of the mistaken ideas which exist so improving life (both personally and within organisations) for everyone on a daily basis.

There will be a number of speakers with varying disabilities and first-hand knowledge talking about the problems, both large and small, they have to overcome. It will also be possible to experience some of the problems for yourself and to ask questions and raise any points you may want to air.
Tea/coffee and biscuits will also be available.

There are a few parking spaces at Bedford Hall and train, tram and bus stops nearby at West Croydon station and in Wellesley Road.
