Free Public Health Training: Let's Leave it Till Later

This one day training by Public Health Croydon aims at providing staff with practical strategies to help support young people to delay sex until they feel ready to make positive and informed choices.
On completion of the training participants will understand the role played by the media and peer pressure in early sex; have explored a range of practical activities to help young people make positive and healthy decisions for themselves and to enable them to resist peer pressure, have discussed the role played by friendships and supportive adults (e.g. youth workers, teachers, sexual health professionals) in supporting delay, have explored ways in which to present and develop this work with young people.
