Establishing Volunteer Involvement

Principles of Volunteer Management - although this is a stand alone course it is part 1 of a series of 3 training sessions that can be completed as a set at a discounted rate - see below for details.
This training session will cover:
- Developing purposeful volunteer roles that will really help your organisation meet it's goals
- Ensuring staff understand to role of volunteers and how they can support them
- Creating a welcoming environment for volunteers which will help with recruitment and retention.
This session will be of use for those who want to increase the involvement of volunteers in their organisation or who want to get more out of their volunteer programme.

The training will be delivered by Hilary Bell, CVA's Volunteering Good Practice Adviser. She has worked with Croydon organisations to develop and improve volunteering for over 8 years.
