Come along if you recruit and support volunteers to share experiences and ideas about how to develop and manage volunteer programmes.

At this meeting we’ll focus on volunteer awards. We’ll discuss how to nominate volunteers for local and national awards, such as the Croydon Mayor's Civic Awards. We'll also think about whether and how to introduce internal awards for volunteers.

The session will be led by Mark Restall who has been a judge for volunteer awards in the past, so can give you an idea of what judging panels will be looking for, and how to write eye-catching nominations for your volunteers.
