Free Workshop: Quality Marks
Wednesday 08 November 2017
10:00 to 13:30
What is best for my organisation?
Voluntary and community organisations are increasingly expected to demonstrate to funders and commissioners their approach to quality assurance. Quality standards are one way of doing this. Working to a quality standard can bring external (stronger position to respond to tenders) and internal benefits (providing a tool for organisation improvement and reflection as well as a framework for consistency) to your organisation.
Come to this one day event to hear from a range of Quality standard providers and start your journey towards quality assurance. The following Quality mark providers will be delivering workshops on the day:
PQASSO is the Practical Quality Assurance for Small Organisations and sets out what organisations need to have in place to ensure sound governance practices, financial and risk management procedures, and a robust system for measuring outcomes.
IiV (Investing in Volunteers) is the UK quality standard for good practice in volunteer management. It helps organisations to assess the quality of their volunteer management and involvement, prove and improve the effectiveness of their work with volunteers, and enhance the organisation's reputation.
AQS is the Advice Quality Standard, the quality mark for organisations that provide advice to the public on social welfare issues.
Customer Service Excellence Standard is a quality standard with a focus on customers: delivery, timeliness, information, professionalism and staff attitude. There is also emphasis placed on developing customer insight, understanding the user’s experience and robust measurement of service satisfaction.
Please arrive promptly as workshops will be booked in on the day at registration point on a First come First serve basis.
