If you want to ensure you are offering activities that reflect the wider community that your club serves, then you might want to become a ‘Croydon Welcomes’ Club. Based on the City of Sanctuary awards, we are encouraging clubs to show how they learn, embed and share principles of social inclusion for refugees and those from new communities.

As part of the learning principle we are offering this free Volunteer Management course, where you can understand what it means to welcome refugee volunteers to your club and manage them appropriately to ensure you provide both them and your club with the most positive experience.

This is the first step to becoming an approved Croydon Welcomes Club.
