Croydon Council's financial pressures and their impact on Croydon’s voluntary sector and the Council’s plans for its One Croydon Alliance will be on the Agenda at this online meeting of the CVSA (Croydon Voluntary Sector Alliance).

CVA’s CEO Steve Phaure met with Shifa Mustafa (then Council’s Interim CEO) at the beginning of September to voice our concern that VCS budgets are not adversely affected by the Council’s current cutbacks and the Council’s financial pressures. A new interim CEO started this week, Katherine Kerswell, and we look forward to working closely with her.

The Council has committed to presenting at the CVSA meeting on the cuts being implemented, their longer-term impact and the mitigating measures being found.
