Learning Objectives for RIC/MARAC Training

Risk, Identification and Checklist - will explore

• The evidence base that informed the DASH (2009).
• The risk identification process and the high-risk factors for serious harm and homicide.
• How this relates to the risk management including MARAC
• The profile of the domestic violence perpetrator and nature of serial offending, and
• Lessons learned from homicide reviews using case studies.

MARAC

•  Explore what makes an effective MARAC

This training is aimed at all staff who work with adults/children and your role involves completing/attending MARAC, Designated Safeguarding Leads and any other professionals whose role includes understanding the process of RIC/MARAC

This training will be delivered by FJC staff, face to face. The venue details will be given out one week prior to the session
