In this first session, Hilary Bell will cover how to answer some of the key questions that funders ask.

• What does your organisation do?
• What difference will your project make?
• Why is your organisation the best one to do this work?

If you find it hard to make a start on a blank application form these sessions may be of help. We will share examples and make it very relevant to your project.

The CVA Croydon Funding Club is an initiative to help support community groups and local charities to achieve funding success. Participants will help each other to develop skills and confidence. Successful fundraisers will share their stories, there will be opportunities to 'Meet the Funder' and as much practical support as possible will be given.

Events will be both online and face-to-face.
