Practical Fundraising Training Course (CPCT)
Tuesday 28 March 2023
09:30 to 15:00
In the face of the current economic crisis and the impact it is having on our communities and on the Voluntary and Community sector, Crystal Palace Community Trust is offering a one-day fundraising training course on Tuesday 28th March at Anerley Town Hall from 9.30 – 3.00.
The course will focus on:
- Sources of funding
- Funder research
- Fundraising planning
- Creating your own fundraising ‘story’
- Developing your fundraising ‘template’ for grant applications
This is a practical course that aims to update participants on sources of funding in the world of grant making and provide information about potential funding sources.
The second half of the day will be focused on supporting you to develop your individual fundraising template which can be used to help you complete grant applications. After the course, participants can also submit draft funding applications for a ‘critical friend’ assessment.
The trainer is a successful professional fundraiser with many years experience across the statutory, voluntary, and private sectors.
Crystal Palace Community Trust is not funded to provide this training, but we recognise the need to offer support and help partners and colleagues in the Voluntary and Community Sector in these difficult times, therefore we are asking for a contribution towards our costs, ranging from £10 for volunteers to a maximum of £50 per participant.
Please let us know by email if you are interested in attending as soon as possible as places are limited.
You should reply to development@cpct.org.uk
Providing your name, the organisation or group you work for/with, and a sentence describing your current fundraising experience/knowledge.
