Creating and exploring Census 2021 custom data sets (Superhighways)

Wednesday 23 August 2023
14:00 to 15:15

Join this practical 60 minute session online in Zoom to learn how to select, download and analyse Census 2021 data. It is being run by Superhighways.

You will first be shown how to use the Office for National Statistics (ONS) 'create a custom dataset' tool and then support you as you create and download your own.

This might include e.g. age, ethnic group and / or language spoken alongside health, disability or hours of unpaid care. You might alternatively be interested in housing, education or employment data alongside specific demographics, and focussing on London, a specific borough or smaller geography.

You will then be shown you how to analyse your downloaded Excel spreadsheet - creating a simple pivot table and chart to visualise the data and answer the questions you may have been exploring, with time for you to do this yourselves with the Superhighways team on hand to help.

Book your place: you can find out more and book your place here.

Follow up one to one support will also be provided.
