Croydon Voluntary Sector Alliance

Thursday 21 January 2021
10:00 to 12:00

The Council is now consulting on cuts that will take up to £1.5 million out of voluntary and community sector (VCS) budgets in Croydon.

Groups are being asked to explain what impact this will have and to advise the Council on how it might ‘do things differently’. CVA is reconvening the Croydon Voluntary Sector Alliance on 21 January to provide Croydon’s VCS with another opportunity to develop its collective response to the Council’s proposals. After a year in which VCS groups have stood on the frontline against Covid-19, deepening inequalities and the impact of economic recession, the real challenge is to find ways of extending our reach – so please join us again on 21.1 for another frank exchange of ideas on how we, as the VCS working in partnership, can continue leading the way in 2021.
