Understanding and Exploring Bereavement and Listening Skills (One Croydon Training)

Wednesday 03 July 2024
10:30 to 12:00

We are delighted to add this third online interactive training on ‘Understanding/Exploring Bereavement and Listening Skills which will complement Malcolm Gill's (St. Christopher’s) recent Bereavement, grief and Loss training sessions.

We will all at some time interact with those who are grieving during the course of our work, even if it is not a core part of your responsibility to support, or work with those who have been bereaved.  In this workshop Malcolm will be exploring, bringing awareness and knowledge to our communities about how to we can sensitively support those who are going through grief and loss by better understanding the skill of active listening.

This training is part of the One Croydon Training programme, which is for Croydon's frontline workforce (statutory, health, and voluntary sector) colleagues, but this session may be of particular interest to those supporting food banks, the elderly, refugees, the unemployed, or as a volunteer or befriender.

Malcolm's Bereavement training sessions have been very popular and are quickly fully booked so book now to avoid disappointment!
