Free Workshops Raising Awareness of Prevent
Tuesday 07 July 2015
10:00 to 12:00
Prevent is one of the four threads that make up the national CONTEST counter terrorism strategy and aims to stop people becoming terrorists or actively supporting violent extremism. This is done through partnership working, involving local authority services, police, the NHS, fire brigade, ambulance service, transport police, probation service and third/ voluntary sector organisations.
These workshops aim at informing attendees on what Prevent and Channel are and what to do if you have concerns about changes in someone’s personality or behaviour.
There is just one date remaing after this one: 17 July.
