The Safer Croydon Radio (SCR) connects businesses and is a key tool in the prevnetion of crime across the town centre and other district centres across the borough.  The SCR allows businesses to communciate with each other on crime and safety matters as well as connecting businesses to the main CCTV control room operated by Croydon Council.  Radios can be used to alert other businesses to know shoplifters in the area or to request assistance with regard to CCTV recording incidents or tracking individuals who have committed crimes.

This session is also offered on 18 June (1.00pm - 5.00pm).

Members of the SCR team will be available to visit businesses interested in joining the radio scheme or to provide training to staff members of those already using the equipment.
