Free Public Health Training in Croydon

Who should attend: All those who work with young people and young parents (e.g. teachers, PSHE Co-ordinators, social workers, support workers, housing staff, nurses, midwives, health visitors, nursery nurses, youth workers, YOT and children centre’s staff, local authority voluntary sector agencies..

Aim:  To increase participants’ awareness of needs of pregnant teenagers and young parents and to understand how to engage and support them more effectively.

Would you like to: 

·      Understand the risk factors of teenage pregnancy.

·      Explore issues that influence self-esteem.

·      Recognise and explore the specific needs of teenage parents.

·      Know about the range of services available to young people locally and how to access them.
