Squaring the Circle – Challenges for Civil Society in London in 2015
First joint conference between London Voluntary Service Council and Greater London Volunteering.
The keynote address asks the question ‘What is the future of Civil Society in London’ against a background of growing inequality and calls for more devolution.
The afternoon will also include:
Four masterclasses on campaigning, volunteering, co-production and governance looking at both theory and practice.
A panel discussion amongst leaders from the funding, VCS and public sector worlds will give you the opportunity to hear how they see the future.
They will also be looking ahead to the Mayoral Election and framing questions to use in forthcoming hustings event as well as giving you the opportunity to feed into the debate on what support our civil society needs.
