Celebrating their 6th Annual Black History Buffet Dinner & Dance.

This year’s theme is “In the Beginning Part 1 – Slavery is not our Beginning” presented by Khareem Jamal, Africology. Joining the celebrations will be Junior Bogle, descendent of Paul Bogle (Leader of The Morant Bay Uprising), Carole Philips daughter of the legendary Harold Philips (aka “Lord Woodbine”) and other special guests representing our rich history and beginnings.

The occasion will also raise awareness of children from black and mixed heritage families who are unable to live with their birth families.

One of the charities that support these families is The BME BAAF (Black and Minority Ethnic Children British Association for Adoption & Fostering), our chosen charity for this year’s event.

The evening promises to be entertaining and informative so be prepared to celebrate in an ambient setting and great music. You will not be disappointed!
