Kijana: Free programme for 14-25 year olds

Kijana, means young in Swahilli, and this programme is based on the rites of passage. It will help young people to transition from young to adulthood.  It is designed to develop character and enrich future Croydon leaders. It aims to build confidence, teach new skills and help to give voice to the future leaders of Croydon.

At the end of the programme, these young people will be assisted to develop projects and initiatives of their own and they will attend an affirmation ceremony, awarded certificates in front of local dignitaries, peers and families
