A half day conference to commemorate how they and other organisations and individuals have worked together to make Croydon a leading borough in challenging homelessness.

The conference will bring together charities, local businesses and the London Borough of Croydon to mark the achievements of the past whilst anticipating and discussing the issues, challenges and opportunities facing the street homeless in the future.

The aims of the conference will be to:

• look at the achievements of Nightwatch during its 40 years
• highlight the other organisations dealing with homelessness in the borough and across London
• debate and discuss the challenges of tackling homelessness
• showcase effective solutions to prevent rough sleeping
• highlight effective housing options available including increased access to the Private Rented sector
• Look to the future: suggesting a local template that could be duplicated in other boroughs.
