CHILD SEXUAL EXPLOITATION
Who should attend?
Practitioners working with children, young people and in Croydon who may come into contact with young people
at risk or affected by Child Sexual Exploitation.
Learning aims
This is a one day introduction session to Child Sexual Exploitation. It aims to develop skills and awareness of
sexual violence/exploitation and its links within gangs, legislation and how to support young people affected.
Learning objectives
- Impact of our own attitudes and values on our work with young people
- Role of young women in gangs and links to CSE
- Legislation relating to CSE
- Local processes, resources and services supporting young
- people in Croydon
This training will be repeated on the following dates:
10th June, 8th July 22nd Sept, 8th Nov and 18th
January 2017.
