This workshop is for managers in all care settings who work with people living with dementia from different cultures and backgrounds such as black, Asian and ethnic minority communities as well as lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities.
What attendees will get from the event:
- An overview of a new upcoming resource – ‘Dementia and Diversity’
- The opportunity to consider how the workforce is supported and developed to work with a diverse range of people who have dementia
- The opportunity to discuss diversity matters linked to people with dementia and network with other leaders and managers
