Engaging Fathers Managers Training

This half day training program will be delivered by Working with Men, WWM’s father’s development work across several London boroughs and nationally will be used to deliver an overview of current good practice, the strategic context (locally and nationally) we will review key messages and targets from CSCB
It will do this by exploring many of these issues:
- Use creative approaches to increase the involvement of fathers in services.
- Supporting existing services and organisations to increase capacity to engage and support fathers
- Taking a strategic overview of services for fathers
- Developing support and services for fathers
- Prioritising fathers for ‘counselling’ and the provision of specialist work around anger and stress management and emotional literacy
- Working with other agencies to ‘prioritise’ fathers needs
- To promote positive lifestyles to men/fathers in minority/marginalised groups
- Increase awareness of men’s understanding of the importance if their health and wellbeing and supporting others
- Review some of the cost benefits of Father inclusive practices
