Supporting children with their homework and home studies

Monday 08 August 2016

Solace International is holding a series of interactive seminars and workshops for the Croydon community over the coming school holidays. The aim of the programmes is to equip participants with the tools for effectively supporting children and young people in their charge throughout the new academic year commencing September. The information and knowledge gained will prove valuable for subsequent academic years to come. Parents, guardians and professionals engaged in the learning environment (such as social workers, teachers, YOT officials, etc.) will find the programmes to be of particular relevance.

This workshop: Parents, professionals and caring adults are often at a loss regarding how best to get the finest out of their children and wards. What can we do? What must we avoid? What really is helpful – and what is not? These and other questions will be answered during this programme. It is also a great chance for parents and professionals to share/swap experiences on supporting their children towards getting the best out of studying on their own.

Please book in advance.
