When things go not-so-good: Getting along nicely with school authorities
Monday 15 August 2016
Solace International is holding a series of interactive seminars and workshops for the Croydon community over the coming school holidays. The aim of the programmes is to equip participants with the tools for effectively supporting children and young people in their charge throughout the new academic year commencing September. The information and knowledge gained will prove valuable for subsequent academic years to come. Parents, guardians and professionals engaged in the learning environment (such as social workers, teachers, YOT officials, etc.) will find the programmes to be of particular relevance.
This workshop: We’ve all been there (well – some of us!): the school says one thing, our child says another and we’re caught in the middle trying to fight our little angel’s corner while doing our best not to rub the school the wrong way…and then failing at both. Well, there’s always Solace. We have purposely put this programme together in order to help everyone on the parent/school/pupil team work in greater harmony. Even if you’ve never had cause to differ strongly with any school about the way they handle your child or a child you know – you never can tell when you just might need this bit of very handy knowledge.
Yo must book in advance.
