Croydon CCG is running a day of FGM-awareness training for professionals working with children and adults, including GPs, midwives, nurses, social workers and key staff at any agency involved in treating or supporting women and girls affected by FGM. The aim is to boost understanding of this crime, increase knowledge of UK law and safeguarding policies and to help develop action plans for responding to FGM in specific settings.
