Conference on skills, apprenticeships, careers advice and FE - focused on London but discussion relevant England-wide - Policy Forum for London.
This seminar focuses on the future of apprenticeships and skills policy in the Capital, however the discussion is also relevant England-wide.

Sessions will examine:

  • Apprenticeships - and future opportunities in the context of the launch of the Institute for Apprenticeships, due in April 2017;
  • Careers advice - improving provision and employability, with Government’s careers strategy expected later this year;
  • Further education - developments in the sector, as Government’s four local area reviews analyse FE in London; and
  • Skills policy - what should be the Mayor’s priorities in light of key manifesto pledges such as the ‘Skills for Londoners taskforce,’ and promoting the devolution of FE funding.
