Come along to this event and find out more about the Quakers and what contributions they have made to peace, equality and justice in their 350-year history.

Central to the Quaker experience is their regular holding of meetings for worship, and during the course of the afternoon they will be offering occasional 20-minute taster sessions in their meeting house next door to the hall. Their distinctive way of worship is to sit in a circle in silence.

This historic building has been used in TV commercials, films and is also home to some other voluntary organisations in Croydon. Local Quakers will be on hand to answer questions, provide further information, and hand out free refreshments. Read more
