Black History and Hate Crime Awareness Conference

Victim Support are offering this free event to commemorate Black History month and Hate crime week during the month of October, 
This conference will raise awareness of the effects of hate crime within the communities we live and work as well as the type of bespoke service victims can expect to receive from Victim Support.  They will also celebrate the achievements and contributions of members of our black ethnic minority community to the very diverse British society.

The event will be attended by the Mayor of Croydon, Councillor Wayne Trakas-Lawlor as guest of honor and main speaker. Also in attendance will be the Croydon Borough Commander, Chief Superintendent Andy Tarrant and the Chief Executive of Croydon Black and Minority Ethnic Forum, Nero Ughwujabo.
