Are young women missing out on employment and training?

Partnershp for London (PYL) are holding a cross sector event where attendees will be invited to examine how they are supporting girls and young women to access greater training and employment opportunities.

This will be done through:

• Reviewing existing provisions
• Identifying what more can be done in collaboration with others into best practice.

Speakers include:

• Mark Gale of the Young Women’s Trust and
  Samantha Rennie of Rosa, a UK fund for women and girls

Attendees will also have the chance to learn more from recent research and gain greater insight into best practice.

PYL have also released a new briefing sheet, which aims overview of the main themes that arose from a networking session in May 2016 facilitated by Partnership for Young London that looked at the emerging themes in work with girls and young women across London and how this knowledge can inform policy and practice in this field.
