Engaging with Fathers Practitioners Training

1 day training delivered by Working with Men, WWM’s father’s development work across several London boroughs and nationally will be used to deliver an interesting and honest programme using case studies, Films, discussion and examples of good practice.
The Aims & Objectives:
- Better understanding of the target client group Men and Fathers (Inc BME,Non- resident.etc.)
- Understanding of how issues of masculinity affect approach to working with Father’s
- Explore the need for clear vision, planning strategically and long term for work with Fathers.
- Develop knowledge of the importance of positive Father figure to developing child.
- Develop understanding of barriers to Father’s/Young Fathers.
- Build awareness of the specific issues affecting Young Men and their understanding of and approach to, the importance of their own general health and well-being.
