St Christopher’s was the world’s first modern hospice. It has supported the people of Croydon who are dealing with end of life issues for almost 50 years.

St Christopher’s is working hard with the Croydon BME forum to ensure end of life support and services are relevant and accessible to the diverse communities that now make up Croydon.
This focus Group will discuss:

• Death and Dying issues from the perspective of people from different cultures now living in Croydon.
• Raising awareness of what St Christopher’s offers and could offer to Croydon BME communities.
• Capturing the learning of death and dying issues from the lived experience of Croydon BME residents.
• Agreeing a community/communities way forward to enhance better death and dying support within Croydon BME communities.
