Croydon Spacehive is a bespoke online tool which can be used to gather support and invite donations of time or money from neighbours, friends, local and national stakeholders and businesses to leverage inward investment and magnify a groundswell of community support to get projects underway and on the road towards becoming fully funded.

In Croydon, so far local groups have used Spacehive to crowdfund and generate £100k of support for projects that have driven the transformation of public spaces and improved civic life. Projects that have made Croydonians proud so far have included:

• A pop up Saffron farm 
• A playground refresh 
• Transforming an empty shop into an artist-run space
• An Interfaith bike ride 
• A Chinese new year parade
