Free Workshop: 'Make Work a Healthy place to be'

Aimed at managers in the voluntary and community sector.
Most employers and managers want to reduce work absences and particularly those related to health issues. There is growing interest in supporting employees’ wellbeing at work and the Better Health for London priority to 'Make work a healthy place to be', is one such initiative.
This free workshop will provide an overview of work and wellbeing, and discuss issues for supporting and retaining employees and volunteers.
The session includes:
- Looking at the national context and policy on health and work;
- Greater London Authority initiative;
- Exploring work place health, and
- Exploring how participants are supporting work as a healthy place
