'Safeguarding is everybody's responsibility'

The CSCB are publishing two serious case reviews on the 24 January and are sharing their findings at these sessions and also on 2 March 2017.

These half day workshops will provide you with an overview and learning from each Serious Case Review and will give you the opportunity to explore how the learning can be put into practice.

The sessions are from :

9.30am - 12.30pm and 1.30pm - 4.30pm

SCR 'Claire' -  'Claire' was a looked after chld who suffered sexual abuse by her foster carer.  Learning includes: multi agency working strategy meetings, escalation policy and professional curiousity - 'Claire' will be delivered by Bridget Grifin, author of the SCR Overview report.

SCR-RSW (Joint with Lewisham) - these 3 children lived with very young parents where they suffered neglect and physical abuse.  Learning includes: multi agency working, issues of neglect, thresholds and impact of mental health.
RSW will be delivered by Jane Doherty author the SCR Overview Report.

Programme delivery of each serious case review will take the form of: Presentation and overview of the case; Key learning themes; Learning into Practice.
