With the general election coming up, Operation Black Vote (OBV) are working to ensure that as many people as possible are registered to vote, particularly those from a BME background.

With the support of Croydon Council, the Cabinet Office and Croydon BME Forum, OBV will be campaigning around Croydon with a registration van. See below for details.

09:30 -11.00 - Market Square, Purley; (Constituency: Croydon South)

11:30 -13:00 - Outside of Croydon College on street. (Constituency: Croydon Central)

14:00 -15:30 - Thornton Heath High Street; (Constituency: Croydon North)

16:00 - 17:30 - North End near former Allders site, CR9 1SB (Constituency: Croydon Central)

This event will encourage BME communities to engage with our public institutions in order to address persistent issues such as education, employment and racial inequality.
