Title Fabricated and Induced Illness Conference

This event gives the opportunity to discuss and learn together on some of the most challenging issues when working with fabricated and induced illness, including:

  • Learning from serious case reviews
  • Early Recognition – spotting early warnings
  • The importance of focussing on the child and responding effectively to parental issues and worrying behaviours
  • Effective management of referrals
  • Understanding the roles of health and other professionals
  • The importance of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency communication
  • The importance of safeguarding supervision
  • Recognising the importance of professional challenge

This event is for managers and practitioners form health, social care, education, police and community and voluntary settings
