Parental Substance Misuse and the Impact of Family

Tuesday 02 October 2018
13:30 to 16:30

Parental mental health issues were identified as a factor in a number of national and local Serious Case Reviews. Having an awareness of how a mental health problem can impact on parenting
capacity is important in ensuring a child is adequately safeguarded.

This course is suitable for all professionals and volunteers involved in social work and early help, and working directly and regularly
and intensely with children and families (incl. adult based
services).
