Wednesday 23 January 2019
09:30 to 12:30

Suitable for: all professionals and volunteers involved in social work and early help, and working directly and regularly and intensely with children and families (incl. school based staff, health etc)

A number of local and national Serious Case Reviews highlight domestic abuse has being a factor which impacted the safety and well-being of the child, especially when other factors such as parental metal health and parental substance misuse were also issues.

This half-day multiagency training will help practitioners understand and identify domestic abuse, and explain the processes to assess and manage risk.
