Independent Parental Special Education Advice(IPSEA) session on Level 2 SEND law - delivered by a member of the IPSEA legal team.

It will take an in-depth look at specific areas of the law relating to children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. It is essential to have basic knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice before attending.

The training day will cover the following topics:

• Inclusion
• The duty to specify in an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan
• Annual reviews
• Home to school transport
• Mental capacity
• Health and social care
• Mediation
