The current threat level from International Terrorism towards the UK is set at Severe - An attack is highly likely. With this in mind, Counter Terrorism Security Advisors, are offering this Counter Terrorism exercise for all faiths.
Following the terrorist attack in New Zealand, there has understandably been concern as to how Places of Worship can protect their followers in the event of an attack. Project Argus is an interactive, counter-terrorism table-top exercise, developed by experts from the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). The aim is to increase awareness of counter terrorism issues and help make us more resilient as a community. This is a an opportunity to consider how well prepared your site is, increase your knowledge of terrorist threats and share good practise with other faith groups.
